Functional principle of the structure-borne sound processor usc4000
The structure-borne sound sensor detects the sound at the moment the grinding wheel makes contact with the workpiece.
The usc4000 has two independent channels with individual gain and offset adjustment. Each channel can be calibrated for a specific application, for example for wheel contact and wheel dressing.
Example in picture below: 1 channel with high sensitivity, channel 2 with lower sensitivity
All settings are adjusted accurately with potentiometers
